Terms used to describe my approach include nutritional therapy and functional nutrition.
These approaches view your body as one integrated system where everything is connected.
This goes far beyond diet alone, looking at how your body actually handles nutrition.
"You are what you eat" is only part of the picture.
"You are what you absorb and efficiently metabolise" is a a more complete way to think about how the food you eat translates into energy and vitality.
My focus is on supporting your physiology and metabolic health as a whole.
This involves looking closely at your health history, diet, lifestyle and stress load.
A sustainable personalised plan is then agreed with you to help you achieve your health and/or performance goals.
You may or may not have obvious health symptoms. We will look closely at your diet and lifestyle. We will consider what your energy is like and whether you may have nutrient deficiencies.

We will consider potential imbalances in your gut or hormones that may draining your energy, making you bloated, giving you brain fog or preventing you from physically performing to the level you know you are capable.
Lab testing through specialised functional medicine laboratories can be used if necessary to assess what is going on inside your body. This information can be game changing.
